Just a little re introduction!

Just thought I'd take a minute to reintroduce myself for those who may not know anything about the face behind Abiqua Naturals Elderberry Boost!✨
👋I'm Nicole and my small business started about 7 years ago when I was mostly a stay at home momma with my adorable little girl. I never intended to be a business owner, honestly I had no clue what I was going to do with my life! At one point my daughter was sick and I needed a good, natural, healthy option to help her. The store carried one elderberry syrup but I didnt really love it or the ingredients, so I thought I would try to make something better. 
The next thing I knew, I had made a large batch of what would become Elderberry Boost! After sharing with family and friends, the feedback was great and people began wanting to buy it for themselves and others. It seemed like it was time to get all my legal stuff together so thats what I did!

After figuring all of that out it made sense to just keep growing and see how far i could go. Seven years after making that first batch for myself, Elderberry Boost is now carried by about 50 stores throughout Oregon and I definitely have plans to continue growing and expanding. Every aspect of the business is still done by me (making product, bottling, shipping, marketing etc), though I did recently find an awesome friend to help with some of it!

When I'm not consumed with learning how to run a business, my time is spent with my husband, James, and our daughter, Reece. We try to explore and adventure as much as possible. Snowmobiling is our current winter favorite! Getting back into gardening is the big goal for this spring and summer, as well as camping and kayaking as much as possible. I'm also a Subaru Ambassador and absolutely love spreading the love of why Subarus are so dang awesome!
